Build your industries near the edge of the city and make road or rail connection. That makes industries more desirable.

To eliminate most of your pollution from your city you should put your dirty industry towards the edge of the map since pollution will not travel to the other cities. Also put your highly produceing powerplants at the corners of your map.

keep your industrial areas away from the residential areas to make the people in your city happy. Put the tax on dirty industry high as well, it will cut down pollution

Bulid your own bus lanes away from main highways and avenues cause more people will ride the bus and there will be less traffic

If you have a water region and a city you have just made is surrounded by unedited areas, NEVER use reconcile edges unless your city is an island or you want it to become one.

make sure you build area 51 or any Haz/nuclear buildings of objects far from your city so if they blow up it wont get to your city.

When typing in cheat codes, highlight the word with the curser then press Ctrl+C to copy. Simply open dialog box again and press Ctrl+V to replace cheat code. No more typing!

Wealthy people like living on the hill or near a beach...zone a high density residental area at hills or near a beach and keep taxes at 7.5% so reach people will move at your city!!!

At first set taxes at 9% or 9.5% that way as you build your city you get more tax revenue which gives you surplus funds letting you lower taxes

Try to plan your city so you have as few intersections as possible. This will cut down on traffic and pollution.

if you want a clean city build the industrial zones on the edge of the city, build a road or highway on the other edge build a high density residential zone and put the taxes at 8%
